I keep parrots, and it is always recommended that you have variable diameters for birds to perch on. It keeps the claws exersized as opposed to a constant diameter grip.
I do this with my chameleons too, especially in their basking areas. I try to use real branches since they are naturally...

As far as my Panthers go, they use up all of their 24x24x48. Yes, 90% of the time they are in the top area of the cage basking, but they do like to motor around checking out their territory.
If you are dusting with just calcium, you can try gut loading and using calcium fortified water cubes for a few day. As long as you don't use the calcium as gut load for a long time, it will not kill the crickets. Too much calcium makes the crickets exoskeleton too hard and the crickets die.

The first two surprised me when I checked on the eggs in the morning. So I don't know how fast they popped out of the egg.
The third, I saw a slit and I tried to capture on time lapse but ran out of battery after 4 hours (I was at work) and was out by the time I got home. The 4th was another...
There were originally 23 eggs, but I lost 6 thoughout the 10 months. I still have 11 sitting. Two hatched in January, one in February and then these three.
