my Female is 18 months and my Male is around 15 months... im getting n Panter this weekend and he is 3 months old...
this is what i gather.
Males - no problem you can feed them every day
Females - only every 3 days
I have read a couple of treats here about how much you should feed your chams and for females if you feed them to much they will have 2 to 3 clutches of eggs a year...
At this point i'm not worrying how many clutches my Female Veiled should give but to give them n healthy diet and a longer...
im happy to say my Cham is finally eating !!!
i have changed my basking light from 60w to 100w and give him 3 hours a day sun light .... tonight he finally eaten 1 x super worm and 3 x crickets
i have put super worms in n basket in the middle of his tree because he walks past there ... left it for days just rotating his food so its fresh worms everyday..
during work hours....
i have tried Superworms, Chriekets and Roaches but he is not interested, last night he took his tong out for n sec when it looks like his going to shoot for it he puts it back... that was the closest to eating i got with him.....
Hi Guys
I have put Juggernaut out side for the day and he is really getting well but its still 5 days after I got him and still not eating and drinking ...
At what point do i need to open his mount and start to force feet him??
i hope its the last thing i need to do :(
see some pics
can chams smell??? i know they cannot hear they communicate by colors
thank you guys i will give him some time, Should i take him out now and then this male i rescued from people that did not look after him at all... and he was in n cage so small and no leaves to hide so maybe he is use to be...
Hi Guys
I got a male Veiled Cham and he is around 16 months old, My female is 18 months old and i moved her in a new cage because she is going to lay eggs soon.
My male i put in her old cage but in the next room, I noticed he keeps going to the top of the cage and not in the little tree...
Me and my dad build a new cage for my veiled 18 month old cham...
the cage is slightly bigger then the one she is used to, The problem is she is going to lay her eggs in the next couple of days and the cage she was in could not take n 40cm sand bucked,
My problem is i notice when i got...
hi guys
i got a new cage for her and installed a 50CM backed with river sand so she can now dig her hole to lay eggs,
My question is how log should she be in this cage before she will dig her hole??
no its about 10cm .... i will have to make another plan for her.... will go and by n good cage for her and were one can give her the sand and depth needed
