thank you for the advise guys, he is overcoming an eye infection and has been rather ravenous since i moved him over to his new enclosure, so hopefully putting the weight on him shouldnt prove too difficult.
280 grams! he must be built like a tank lol. unless i am weighing mine wrong he is 60 grams, he has very small bone structure. He is a very fussy eater but dusnt appear to be too skinny. I will try and get some pictures up for you to judge.
Hi there i have a one year old nose be male panther chameleon, he looks to be slightly underweight and i would like to bring him up to a more healthy weight. What should i be aiming for?
many thanks
Ryan
mine doesnt like being sprayed directly either so just spray the foliage around him/her. Or if you are going to spray the cham just avoid its head and make sure its warm water, hth
i am still on the look out for a decent mister, they seem to be a little harder to come by over here. However hand misting and a dripper seems to work for me:)
thank you, im new to the pc fans aswell! i have a very good temperature gradient with the fans off but i intend to use them when the weather is hot and perhaps just put them on a cycle to clear the stagnant air, i have one blowing air out and one blowing air in!:)
i had the same problem in the uk, trying to maintain ambient temperatures with a screen cage, this is what i have built last weekend. I use pc fans at the top for ventilation. its not fully set up but you get the idea.
you have quite a collection of chams there! all looking very healthy too. Does Rob Lane still sell panthers by chance? the quads look lovely must be nice to have the good weather and get them outside.

im not sure the ankeramys would mix well with any other colour in my opinion, but it certainly would be interesting to see, i think there will be some very interesting looking cross breeds in the near future.
wow thats a big chameleon! had the same situation with my nose be, he has really gone into overdrive the last few days. Isnt it funny the reaction other people have to seeing a panther chameleon!
that ambilobe is absolutely stunning, may i be as bold as to ask where you got him from,im not having the best of luck sourcing ambilobes in England, the only breeder i know has only just started incubating his! been nice weather for the chams recently mine has really coloured up.
cheers
Ryan
Hi there i am wondering if there are any good panther chameleon breeders out there, i live in west sussex. I would like a red bar ambilobe male or diego suarez, anthything with a heavy red and orange pattern.
