What if your babies don't want to eat 15-20 crix a day? I've let mine free roam for the 3 weeks I've had them. All crix are accessible, while trying to hide, if he wanted to search for them he could easily find them. 5 of them normally stand next to him while he basks...but he doesnt always...

I doubt it is dirt, not really dirt or dirty in his cage. he's had the spots since I received him at 4 weeks old on Feb 24th 2011. He was guaranteed a healthy cham on arrival and 3 days after. I sure hope its nothing

definitely birds, but every house has about 5 birdhouses in their trees that mimic miniature mansions...i guess that solves the problem

I've got the same problem, one or two will hand out on a vine in the basking area and they disappear very quickly, right into waldo's mouth. but the others really enjoy the UV light and a few leaves right under it, they hide high and well there and are living a pretty safe life right now...
