Ok I admit it might be a silly question but what really is the difference between a reptiglo light and a reptisun light? I am in the process of upgrading the size of hood on Ichi's cage but I have a reptiglo light and I just don't know the difference between the two and I know I can't count on...
Yeah they hurt also....it's like I have my own piercing parlor :). Is there any way that you can safely trim a chams claws or does a vet have to do it? My other cham never had long nails....
Don't know what gender and he is 23" total. I have no idea about the weight though....I still haven't gotten a proper scale to weigh the beast! I imagine he weighs a lot since he eats like a pig! :)
Thanks....I forgot to turn the photo....sorry! He really didn't like halloween though....I am a teacher and I dressed up as Raggedy Ann and he/she HATED the red wig!!! He turned dark and with a lot more black spots! (and I didn't even go near him when I was dressed up:))
I use those vines also for my melleri and he loves them...I haven't noticed any redness on my guys feet though...He has been using them for almost 5 months now. I don't know what to say about your guys feet.......
Under the plant is the water dish that catches any water that runs out. I water it about once a week to once every two weeks. I check it to see if it is dry before I water it. (I just stick my finger in the soil)
I had never seen him eat leaves until tonight....that doesn't mean he hasn't though since I am gone during the day. I have only had the Ficus for about three months or so! It really only has about five leaves left! I can't even find any more Ficus here in Bakersfield since the temp is changing...
Well what they heck did I do wrong?
:( I have no idea what I did wrong then here is a somewhat recent photo of Ichi but you can see the condition of the poor Ficus!!! I have even repotted it with organic soil & fert. I really must not have a clue....just glad it's not my Cham:)
I guess...
I gave him so romaine and he ate it up....I will get the list off the discovery site. I was just worried about the dead leaf that he went after. Now I know why my ficus is leafless! :D
Any suggestions for other plants that are hardy?
Ok tonight while watching my cham, he (I thought was hunting the house fly that made it into his cage) ate a ficus leaf. At first I thought maybe he missed but the fly was no where near that leaf. I know that they do eat leaves but he has never before....he continued to eat another leaf then he...
