Definately, natural sunlight is the best for your chameleon!
However, you have to keep a constant eye on it, because chameleons have a tendancy to explore and get lost! And I read enough of these sad stories in the past! :S
Another important thing is to offer him constant watering and...
This is really normal and nothing to worry about! :)
Sean, about bacterias, just don't forget that these animals come from the wild and are used (and made for) eating dubias, worms and other weird insects. So eating their own skin is definately not that bad compared to these wild insects! ;)
Great pictures and great chameleon Laurie!! You are definately improving!! :)
And Carol, what a nice truck!!! You better NEVER force your husband to sell it!!! This is really a great man's toy!!! :D
You can definately order at our new sponsor seller! :)
And from a personal experience, Canadianfeeders definately does a great job! They reply to emails pretty fast (average 18 hours, 48 MAX). They send healthy insects, they are all fed during delivery, and their minimal order price is a lot...
Haha i bet!! You must have been VERY excited!! Working on making things the right way, with all the paper work must have made you a lot more excited!!! But at the end, you definately got some nice chameleons!! @@
By curiosity, was it something expensive to get the papers done? Is it easier when...
Yeah I asked Brad to remove your rights to upload pictures on the forum. I am tired of always being jealous of your chameleons, and he agreed with me. Therefore, you can only upload Calyptratus pictures with a cellular made before 2003! Other species or better digital cameras are forbidden! :D

Good luck and keep us updated! :)
It's kind of funny to see you Hallenhe post your husbandry condition, since i honestly didn't expect to find anything wrong in it! It's not like you were a beginner, especially with pardalis! :) But of course, you never know, and a good review is never a bad thing!
Sadly i can not give you any...
In the States, most people use 5.0 UVB, while in France it's the opposite. The vast majority uses 10.0 and not 5.0. Also, most enclosures are bigger as well in France, and this may be a part of the explanation of why they use higher UVB. However, i haven't seen many cases of UVB burns caused by...
I don't have any experience on bradypodions and i doubt that i could give them proper night temperatures Jared! Otherwise it would be very tempting!!
Maybe Tracey would be interested! :p
