    My happy boy!

This is mainly an update about how Reggie is doing for anyone who is wondering! We went back to the vet to get his eyes checked again, and just as the vet came in the room, we found some stuck shed. He taught me how to flush Reg's eyes just incase it happened so I wouldn't have to bring him in...

    reggie update!!

I’m going to preface this by saying two things: 1) This is a happy post!! 2)Skip to eight section to skip the story time. I went to my usual cricket place and the lady recognized me and asked about his appointment. When we told her, another person told us that we should go to another vet, and...

    No shed yet??

Alright, I’m going to switch them out right now! Thank you, again!!

    No shed yet??

The one the vet gave me to syringe feed. If that’s not ok then I’ll take those bugs out and replace them with just calcium. I should have asked here before I did it, I know he hasn’t eaten any of them yet.

    No shed yet??

I always check but they're usually mushy. I wait a bit anyway just in case I missed one that is actually a fly. He LOVES silkworms and will eat the mid sized and smaller, so going smaller might get him to eat a bit more volume. He also loves wax worms, luckily not as much. He has eaten crickets...

    No shed yet??

That’s exactly what I decided on!! I got two containers of small silks and one of wax and BSFL. I think the larvae were on their last legs so I’m ordering some for him. I tossed twenty smalls and in his cup I put a container of small silks with some wax’s. All have calcium but the cup has some...

    No shed yet??

Thank you! He hasn’t eaten BSFL, but I am wanting to try hand feeding them for him, since he tends to like that more anyway. He hasn’t loved cup feeding, though he has done it. I’ve been trying all sorts of different feeders and such for him, but he mainly likes hand feeding. I’m working on...

    No shed yet??

His uvb is fixed, I’ve added another branch closer to us as well for him, I’m going to go get tons of crickets for feeding and the correct gut load and make ice cubes for them. I am also making a solar meter a priority. I am able to try any feeders other than Dubias, which are not allowed in...

    No shed yet??

She confirmed SHE used it for lubricant. Bad wording there on my part.

    No shed yet??

I just told the story in a reply to Beman, but I forgot to mention that his Dragonstrand was not bioactive.

    No shed yet??

Would I still need to lower the UVB if his enclosure isn’t four feet tall? I have an enclosure a bit shorter and longer. We had a vet appointment today where they flushed his eyes even though it was just the one eye, and gave me eye drops for both of them, again, even though it was just his...

    No shed yet??

The barium was to lubricate his stomach, I assumed that’s what would be best, so they gave him some. His poops have been normal since, and his rates are even batter, so I am glad about that. I am not sure of the type of mold, but it was most likely because we used grapevine and the hygrometer...

    No shed yet??

I have built trust with him, he barely gapes at me, he hand feeds and climbs on me as an elevator sometimes and other times he climbs on my head. I decided to leave him alone for a while so he would hopefully eat, but I got him out yesterday and he seemed to enjoy it as much as he can. I agree...

    No shed yet??

I’m not insanely concerned about Reginald’s lack of shed, but it is notable and I wanted to make sure it wasn’t so concerning to anyone else. Context: As previously posted, Reginald has not been the most fond of eating enough, and the last vet visit led to them giving me a powder to mix for...

Help! This Panther Chameleon is almost 8 months old and I have no idea what sex it is! It's color looks male, it's tail looks female....

if the black and kinda blue-ish white are her fired up colors, i’d say female. i also don’t see any hemipenal bulge. make sure to get her a nice laying bin!!

Yes! sorry, I had not seen the message until now, so I am sorry for the late reply!!

    not eating still :/

I put a cup in earlier today in hopes he will eat out of it. I have been trying a few ways to get him to eat since I got him and the worms on a hand (any hand, really) is his favorite and the only way he has eaten enough. Now that he is willing to eat, I want to try to get him into cup feeding...

    not eating still :/

His fecal came back negative, but they also gave him a bit of barium, so that may have been it. My luck he only starts eating AFTER the vet visit.

    not eating still :/

I tried using one for him but he never was interested. I might try it again since he’s been eating more.
