Valentino is very cute!!
You definitely want to replace that ESU bulb. The fixture is fine ... just the ESU bulbs are worthless. Reptisuns are what I use in my ESU fixtures as well.
For my baby panther chameleon (besides crickets) I get him fruit fly cultures and phoenix worms (I get...
I had a bearded dragon with MBD so bad he couldn't move any of his limbs or even lift his head up and I almost gave up on him. He hung in there though and so did I. Today he's a very fat beardie eating up superworms faster then I get hand them out most days. :^) You tough it out Sweetpea!!!!
Have you tried ordering silkies, phoenix worms or fruit flies online? It's great having them delivered right to your door.
I get my phoenix worms and fruit fly cultures from http://www.blackjungle.com/home.htm. I can really recommend them for great customer service and fast delivery...
I bought a very nice size ficus for my screened aluminum enclosure at Home Depot for $8.99. It's growing like crazy and I've already had to trim it twice now.
I have my panther chameleon in an aluminum enclosure like they sell at lllreptile.com. These kind of cages have plastic inserts that fit inside the bottom of your cage to catch the water from your mister so it's an easy clean up if your potted plant overflows (mine never has though).
I get my silkies from Coastal Silkworms as well. They're great. I also order the wet food with my orders as well since it's easier to just get the food with the silkies.
I tried ordering crickets online but received them half dead so I'm not doing that anymore. I'm just buying small ones...
I have a bearded dragon diagnosed with advanced MBD last Dec. 7, 2005. He was on liquid calicum drops for awhile until he got use of his arms and legs again. Now he gets along just fine and eats like a horse!
Does your veil even show symptoms and do you dust her food with calicum? What's...
Do you have something soft at the bottom of the cage like paper towels in case they slip and fall again?
I used grape vine wood with those reptile vines in my baby panther cage and lined the bottom with paper towels in case of a fall.
Is it weird that two hours after lights out my little baby panther chameleon is still climbing all around his screen cage and hanging upside down on the top?
Usually he's in his "sleeping" spot an hour or two before the lights even go out. Tonight he's still climbing non-stop all up and...
I got my ficus tree at the Home Depot next to Regency Mall in Arlington. (Maybe give them a call and have them set you aside one till you get there). They had several that were in the inside little greenhouse room where all the orchids are. There was a bunch of them sitting on the floor with a...
They're very nice!! We really like the guy at First Coast. He's very friendly and helpful. We've gotten a couple cages from him already ... both handmade by him.
I got my ficus at Home Depot for $8.99. They had a nice selection of them and I even had to trim some of the top to get in it...
Congrats on the Jacksons!! They look great. What's their names? Did you get them from First Coast?
I was going to tell you I found another small reptile store on Southside that has a giant chameleon, carpet chameleon and some sort of horned chameleon in it plus supply stuff. It's called...
Ok thanks Jenna. I was wondering when I could take my four month old panther outside as it's already warm here in Florida.
I do have a screen outdoor cage for him already to be in and was going to put in a piece of grape vine wood and some silk vines for climbing. (It would be a real...
