No way could I ever feed a mantis to my cham or any other animal, I think they are so very cool and my husband loves to photograph them, we even had two we kept for pets last summer, we released them before the fall....they do have some awfully cute faces.
I am a medical translator for the largest medical system in the state, I do get to work from home and be with my husband Steve who is retired, my two dogs Aspen and Ladybug and of course my cham Picasso...we love golf and play 5 times a week, love to cruise, and love hiking, camping and working out.

Picasso free ranges in our sun room and some days it will get very warm in there,but he seems to like it that way and will still wander over to his basking light for a little more heat, then around 6 pm he will find his sleeping limb and just chill on it until all lights are out at...

This is Rocky Raccoon resting in his favorite tree after a big meal of cat food.....we feed 6 of them every night on our bedroom deck....Rocky is the father of 5 young coons that come up also...we have been feeding him for 3 years.
I just wonder if Cooper realizes he just landed in the best cham home on earth, with the best cham mom on earth!....congrats Jann, he is a doll and I can't wait to see more pics as he grows up.
It is beginning to be the only food Picasso will eat now, and having to hand feed he will just turn away when offered crickets.....so, can you gut load superworms?
