I just bought a wild caught trio but one female died, but my male isn't as energetic as your. You will want to separate the male if he's an aggressive breeder. Give them time to get used to the new environment then reintroduce them. After he mates with them I don't think he'll be as aggressive.
Last Saturday I picked up a trio of Pygmy chameleons but sadly one female didn't make it. The pair I still have is kicking butt and eating everything they can set their eyes on.
Beautiful Male
Female finishing a cricket
I also picked up a veiled and mantella baroni from the show 2 months ago...
I have a pair of f. verucosus and I think they're very underrated, my favorite chameleon I've owned so far. They can be a bit feisty at times but i still enjoy them!
An issue i had with using exo terras is that the bulb i was using for a screen enclosure was to hot for glass. just make sure you check the temps before hand. no one likes baked chameleon:D
One thing you could do is buy a chinese mantid ooth and feed it to baby chameleons. Attach it to the inside of the inclosure so when it hatches they can feed away!
Nick Mole should be receiving his shipment this week sometime. I am planing on getting R. accuminatus if they come in. Did you receive any on this shipment or were those the only animals?
I just checked cities and C. crypticum has prep. written next to it. It could possibly become a quota species or it is they just don't have a number yet.
They can't sell them at pets shops in the US, they're considered pests. i get mine from a huge abandoned golf course, I take a net and get a few dozen.
Are you just going to use neosporen? How many pairs did you receive? 1.1 of each local? I hope thing turn around for the people that have lost animals!
