    Chameleons and natives

Here's a start: http://www.academia.edu/900159/The_ecology_and_exploitation_of_chameleons_in_Madagascar Also, the book Masters of Disguise by James Murphy has some discussion of the fadys (taboos) relating to chameleons in Madagascar.

If there were new CITES species quotas?

These quotas are only going to be for wc. Perhaps additional quotas for ranches specimens could be approved but I seriously doubt Madagascar has the infrastructure to inspect "farms" so they'd likely just be increasing the number of wc getting export permits.

Rare Chameleons from Madagascar available in 2013

    F. campani wasn't that expensive this year. I'm wondering what quotas will be like for the more common species like C. nasutum will be. F. antimena will supposedly only have a quota of 50. They're saying the quotas for these species will amount to an additional 6000+ chameleons per year so...

    Nosy Faly sons of Dhaulagiri

Hey Rob, All the kids look fantastic! Both of the boys are doing great although the smaller of the two is an east coast cham now. I've tried getting pics of the bigger boy but he always turns dark and runs. I snapped this blurry iPhone pic tonight to at least show his progress. I think in...
