Interesting... I believe Ghann's was one of, if not the, first to start producing the banded crickets and don't seem to be having issues with them, yet....

Anecdotally, from what I've heard from a couple of the farms as well as other people in the herp industry, the virus is airborne and several of the farms believe they were first infected via shipments of inorganic supplies (cardboard boxes, egg crate, plastic cups, etc.). Seems like keeping the...
I've never seen a male verrucosus with that shade of yellow in the gular area but have seen plenty of females like that. Have you ever seen a male with dorsal spines that end halfway down its back?
Based on the color, lack of hemipene bulge, and dorsal crest that ends halfway down the back rather than running past the pelvis and down the tail, I still say female.
Both are female verrucosus. As in the picture Trace posted, the males' dorsal crest should extend down to the tail rather than terminating halfway down the body in females.
Hey Rob, just saw this as it's been a real long week. I'll see what I can do right now but they're outside in the sun and totally wet so they were mostly grey when I looked at them last.

The under cage tray is slightly oversized to collect any water that runs down the walls of the cage. Four small holes in the cage bottom and four in the tray and they work perfectly for me. I use them on cages up to 4x3x5' and really like the ease of drainage.
