imcurt
Imcurt from epicchameleons is the nicest guy. Have had several pre-purchase questions and not only does he respond, he called me to talk about my issues 8)
edit with irfanview
my fiance showed me this program called irfanview that will auto turn your images to normal. just open with irfanview then save to original folder and it fixes the iphone images 8)
you have to!
You have to find a local nursery in your area and you will be like I was yesterday, a kid in a candy store. Not only will they likely have everything you can want and more, they are more knowledgeable than your typical hardware store associate, and you will be supporting local...
bowl underneath?
try to put a small bowl underneath with smooth sides to catch the strays. then if he eats em out of the drop down cup or the catch bowl its fine and no wanderers
not an expert
I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but reading on here, if you have enough foliage in the enclosure with vertical and horizontal climbing opportunities, it will limit the need / desire to climb the screens.
spent over $150 on plants and this sweet centerpiece for the cham enclosure.
The enclosure is complete and I am moving to my new apartment on monday to set it up and let the ecosystem settle in. Then will be ready for my cham!
The fog wand you can see fog coming out barely, not really...
also
you could also put those live plants on overturned flower pots or buckets to get the foliage up higher. Then get a few more smaller live plants for the bottom. awesome start though! I gotta have me a rubber plant in mine too 8)
bacteria
spencer, do you have any issues with bacteria or algae growth? I like the idea of 5 gallon buckets because you can get the screw top lids for them and make them 99.9% spill proof.
I have been researching all week omg my eyes are so tired from reading haha.
I have looked at many ways to provide fresh clean, non tap water to my chameleon, and after sifting through so much stuff (RO systems, Linx commercial system, aquarium heaters in 5 gallon buckets and even coffee pot...
so sorry
It is one thing to own a chameleon and help others out when you can. It is another thing all together when your care and compassion prove themselves as the example you set for your peers. The standard for "How-to" has been set and Luie will live on forever.
I hope you are able to get...
bleh
ok, well after researching reviews from amazon I am not getting this, or any other water filtration system. I have always been a skeptic of these and figured if you dont keep up with the filters constantly, and if your local water is horrid, you will be drinking worse than tap water most...
yep
most people will tell you 24 x 24 x 48 is the ideal size for an adult. If you are going to house a baby in that, you may have better success cup feeding, as they can have issues with hunting food in such a large area.
All depends on your cham in the end though 8)
