    Ficus Carica

There's no real way to disinfect a branch from a living tree. You can wash it, scrub it with dish soap or Fluker's, even dip it in a diluted bleach bath (and rinse the heck out of it after) or boil it for 10-15 minutes. Ultimately, it might be safer to get some branches from the floral section...

How to hang T5 12% uvb light

I needed a way to hang my heat bulb, and didn't want to drill holes on the ceiling or wall. I got a wrought iron banner hanger from Ace Hardware, and extended the pole height by adding on an old standing lamp base. Hard to visualize, I realize. But you can rig something up like this without too...

    Chameleon not acting normal.

I'm relatively new to cham husbandry, but I can see he is dehydrated. You can induce him to drink by putting him in the shower/sink and indirectly spraying water against the side of the tub/sink so it bounces off towards him. Water will accumulate on his head, drip off his snout and encourage...

@Beman I'd love to hear more about your outdoor enclosure when you get there...I'm now thinking about how to best set up something for my little juvie veiled out on my south-facing balcony...was looking at those mesh hampers that pop open...I used to use those for Monarchs... Just stick Pete and...

What’s the most annoying (and obviously wrong) question about chameleons that someone has asked you?

We had a hammer and tongs just for centipedes. A few whacks with the hammer, and tongs to get it into the toilet. TWO flushes. They are a fact of life there...and they get big. BIG. You can hear them coming.
