Def can be a burn...100 watts is pretty high. Some members even use 25w bulbs.
How are you measuring your temps? Usually analog temp gages are iffy and never accurate. Digital ones work decent aswell so hopefully you have a few in your cage. I'd suggest you get a temp gun to measure the...
before making any assumptions, what are the temps you have your guy at?
And how far is he away from his basking light?
Wattage of the light? Type of light?
From the pics, I'd say i'm on the fence with a solar burn, kinda looks fungal. But thats my opinion.
I'd suggest cup feeding. Makes life easy when you're worried about crickets hiding when it's feeding time.
Here's a few to give you an example.

Try doing 20-30 second mists 3-4 times a day for your baby veilds if you're not going to be home. You can do seconds on the mistking timer I think, i've never done it but I'm pretty sure you can.
I'd also recommend cup feeding crickets if you wont be back before his/her lights go off.
Hey! It's not April fools day anymore LOL!
I would have never guessed...
Amazing.
My old panther Jasper was the same way, He turned into something totally different. Crazy how their colors change up as they grow.
Depends where you're from...If your room/area is pretty humid as is, you can have less mist sessions. If it's bone dry, then you'd want allot of mist sessions to maintain your humidity.
You just want to be sure you let your cage dry out before another mist session.
I'll be assuming and...
I think my favorite cham babies would be parsonii...They look like fake Jurassic park dinosaurs lol. I love the texture of their skin and also the patterns some of them can display at such a young age are amazing.
Another one of my favorites are Jacksons, love the big heads on those chams...
Thats great you took him to the vet. You're already on a good start!
Since he's not eating, most likely it's because he's in a new environment. It'll normally take a chameleon a week or two to feel comfortable enough to be normal again.
But since he has a R.I. you're gunna have to stress...
Dark colors could indicate he's cold, sick, or stressed. Most likely he's all 3, so I'm glad you got him that vet visit for tomorrow.
Keep up posted!
If you have to force feed Silkworms, calcium worms, & butterworms are good feeders to use when chams are not eating. They contain a lot of...
Spray nozzles are fine. You can make your own rain domes, mistking ones are over priced and paying for shipping is expensive.
Check out this thread, shows great ideas for a drainage systems. Get inspired...
Yup no problem.
Try that method for a good 2 weeks. If nothing clears up I really suggest you taking your cham to the vet for a check up. I'm sure your local herp vet will tell you to do what i've done and give you some eye drops.
Or, your vet will do an eye flush which is what i'd want to...
Yes, the mist will somewhat get outside of the cage.
You'd need to develop some sort of drainage system. I've been meaning to make a vid of my entire cage set up, which is the same size as the one you're getting. I'll try and upload it tonight if I have the time. I'll also go over my drainage...
Sounds normal to me, I've read a few posts about this topic.
Here's one:

But I also remember reading it could be an infection.
Just be sure to keep an eye on him and make sure the bulge goes down, if it doesn't...
Not sure if this will help you,
But it'll give you an idea of what may be inside that eye bulge.

Also take my advice in my thread. Extra mistings, hand mistings with hot water (comes out warm), saline drops 2x a...
