Ive always wanted to keep this species. Males have that huge rostral and gravid females are so beautiful! You are a lucky man!:) get them breeding and send some over!
These pics are all just 2 animals right? Show us the rest 2.8:D any gravid females?
Dude needs to learn how to use his video camera and focus lol, but I have always loved this species. Theyre like the Madagascar giant fischers just way cooler. That gravid female is amazing:eek:
An underrated species for some reason. They have got to be one of thee coolest looking species out of all chameleons. Same with quads. Great pics Jurgen!
Craig, these pics are amazing and your johnstons look absolutely incredible!!!:eek::eek:. First pic is my new wallpaper on my computer! WOW. Doesnt hurt that you live by the beach and have perfect weather for them;)
Tylene, you are very welcome! I know he is in great hands now in his huge enclosure:) He looks really stressed tho, because his non-stress colors are insane!
Biffle, they are stunning! The 2 males I have are very bold also (both Bwindi) and getting brighter and brighter:) one is just completing a shed also, so I cant wait to see how he will look with fresh skin!
p.s. Magic Johnston cracked me up! lol very clever!
:eek: I LOVE male F. minor's, they are tied for my favorite chameleon with B. damaranum:) I have heard they are easy to keep (F. minor), keep hatching them out so you can send some to me later this year!:D;)
Congrats Craig, and Im glad that other male you got from me is doing well:) Your set ups are perfect and so is where you live! Having seen all your chams and set ups in person I know they are in great hands.
I have 14 eggs cooking now too so fingers crossed. They are very large eggs which...
This male is perfect in every way. His eye turrets get super blue at times, the bluest Ive seen on a johnstoni. He also gets very nice bright yellows, blues and greens on his body. Very healthy and active out in the SoCal sunshine and eating crickets and superworms. Oh, and he is fiesty!!!
