Hmmm pretty interesting. How big do they get and can you feed them off while they are like about half and inch or so? How many are left over after an ootheca breaks open and they are all out? Thanks Heika and sorry for the questions. There was another thread on mantids and they said they can...
Oh man you guys are pretty cool. I wish I could use mantis as feeders but I don't think chameleon could handle 200 + mantids by itself lol , only if they sold like small amounts.
Pretty deep Hieka, but very true. If you really care about you cham, you would look up vets that specialize in reptiles ASAP. Trust me I know from experience how it is to loose a pet and you don't want to end up feeling bad if you could of did something to help her.

Jeez you going a bug maniacs lol. I would like to get to getting different feeders like maybe mantis and stuff, but I have no room for hundreds of them lol. I'm not ready for a whole bunch of bugs I can't feed fast enough lol. Oh man maybe I should just try and get more chams lol.
That is crazy!!!!! I wish I could have one that big lol. Must have a big appitite though. I'm happy with whatever I get though. I'm also interested in pics of one that big and wow that is going to be a huge cage to have one of those. I might be interested in this lol. Hope jordan throws his 2...
Does he ignore the crickets when they are loose also, maybe it just might be that he is not interested in crickets right now. Maybe he is in his "silkworm phase", if he is, he might break out of it soon. Try a superworm, or a waxworm. See if he ignores those.
Really nice babies. Red phase jackson, what do you mean by that, do you have a pic? Sorry about that just curious, but really really col babies. Good luck.

Don't you guys worry about the parasites? Is there a way to tell if the moth has one or not? I'm sorry but I'm not as brave as you guys, plus I can't do it anyway, I live in NYC. There's no way a insect around here hasn't come in contact with some kind of pesticide lol.
Brad I'm very interested in what you are doing with the vitamin A capsules. Is this experimental. Have you seen improvements with your chameleons etc. ?
That's very cool, sorry for being off topic but I think this could be helpful to all of us.

I was actually lookin to buying this on reptilesupply.com, but not for climbing but for using it with a dripper. I wouldn't use the for climbing seems a little thing to me, I would go with either Hieka's idea or maybe Marc10edora's idea or maybe mix it and see what you come up with.

Great site bard, lots to go through when I get home. Don't like insects but its always good to know what I could feed the chams lol. Thanks for the site.

Also remember consider they have to house the animals for the 3 months until they could be sold and until someone buys the animal. Plus the cost of feeding it, utilities, and work put into the animal. Also bloodline, captive bred or wildcaught, different things affect to price of the animal.
