I have resently bought my first cham. I chose a Veiled over a Pather as reconmended. It turned out to be a good choice. Love him to bits now. Altough I am looking at getting a Panther lol :)
I woke up at 4 oclock this morning finding my cham trying to escape by scraping at the front glass. Hes been sitting by the glass all day. Is there any perticular reason he would be doing this?

They are a little harder to identify than the Veiled species at this age as they grow a little slower. Males usually tend to be more grey than the female. I would say Male tbh.

Im not to up on Chams tbh as i have only just started keeping them. But I do know alot of other animals uses the moisture in their mouths to regulate their body temperatue. The moisture that is evapourated carrys heat away from the body. Not sure if its right but you could have a look in to it...
I gave my Cham a shower the otherday (I say shower was more a mist) and he started to drink. Was very cute!! I've never seen him do it before. I used to be worried thinking he wasnt drinking! :)
