I have just received Jan Stipala's book Mountain Dragons! It really looks like a treasure! If you have not ordered yours yet I suggest you order it now :)
Use recommendations as a guideline and then see what works for you. You need to make sure it dries out between mistings. You don't want the enclosure wet all the time. Breeding ground of all sorts of bacteria, mold etc.
Cute little cham :) how is his eye with removing the uvb? The Reptisun 5.0 or Arcadia would be advisable. Hope all is good soon for your little one. :)
I also know of cerain areas with established colonies of Brady's here in jhb. Nat Con doesn't seem to interested in sorting it out. There is only one person I know of that works with Nat Con in KZN and has permits and a breeding them. He now has an export permit as well.
Email Todd, he will ship to you as I am going to order for myself in South Africa soon. He is really helpful, friendly and gets back to you quickly. He will help you I am sure.
Everything is looking pretty good, glad you are changing the uvb 10 bulb out. I think he may have been ill when you got him. Pics will really help otherwise the best will be a vet to check it out. Sure others will give their recommendations soon.
Hey Josh, which area do you live in? Bit cold in Jozi at night now but yes you can in summer, depends where you are in winter and the species you have. I am in jozi and take them out on suitable days but not at night atm.
Yes just leave him and don't stress. Mist and he will be done quickly. It is a normal process for them. Whilst it looks scary at first they shed as they grow and they always look better once shed.
What are you using to measure rh? You can hang or attach some plastic on the sides if you need to. Like a shower curtain to increase humidity. When you mist the humidity normally spikes. It needs to drop and the enclosure must dry out imbetween. My enclosure goes down to 30% and peaks at about 70%.
That last pictute looks like thamnobates. I haven't seen them in pet shops yet only veileds. First two look like traansvaalensis and she does look gravid. Where did you see them?
