Thank you Bob, I am using this survey to filter out people, once I have selected my 20 top applicants the rest will be waitlisted. I will require proof of suitable enclosure prior to shipping.
I just successfully bred my female and have 40 hatchlings which I need to find loving homes for. I have 200+ people interested in adopting and I want to make sure I choose the best prospects. To ensure I select the best applicants I have created this survey/quiz. If you would be so kind to look...
Hurricane Ian is less than 12 hours from hitting Florida's west coast as a category 4 storm. One of the possible impact zones is Lee county which is home to a good chunk of Florida's invasive chameleon population. This has me curious as to what the chameleons will do in order to survive...
I actually will give my veileds some apple slices once every while, its good dietary fiber and has a decent Ca:P ratio. They are more omnivorous than panthers and I would rather feed them fruit on occasion than have them eat their pothos.
It is baby house gecko hatchling season here in Florida and I keep finding these cute little guys all over the place. They don't look like they would be poisonous and they are so small that their bones seem like they should be digestible. Aside the notion that you shouldn't feed wild caught...

I was planning on weaning her onto an every other day schedule at the beginning of June but she became receptive and lost her motivation for food so for now im just feeding her whenever she will eat
Its too late they have already seen each other and both want to get down to business. Like you said I at least want to go through a few clutches before I let them mate. Everyones been cleared for parasites.
I've had my female veiled, Darlene, for 4 months now. She became receptive for the first time around the beginning of the month so she should be ready to lay her first clutch very soon. For the last week and a half she has been completely fixated on escaping her enclosure and when I let her out...
I was doing my routine cage cleaning and I noticed what I am almost certain are parasites in the bottom of one of my plants. Sometimes my chameleon will walk around on the bottom of the enclosure for no reason and will step in the water containing these worms. I want to get him checked out ASAP...
My veiled named Cornelius shot his tongue out and "kissed" me on the nose today. The only instance I found on this was from a forum post in 2007. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know what he was trying to communicate to me?

I was trying to feed him some insectivore care...
