So little Remie (who used to be Loki until I found out that she's a she!) got all fired up yesterday when I tried to take a picture of her, before settling back down to resting colours. I was quite impressed! She is just over four months old.
I am still undecided about keeping her as I'm a...
I have let the breeder know and they have been very apologetic about it, and are happy to refund me the difference.
I have also heard from several people that they have a good deal of affection for their female chameleons :)
I have decided to keep the little girl :) she is just too sweet and I have gotten too attached! I think I will likely get a male as well this weekend at the Reptile Expo :)
In the meantime, I have re-named her Remie. :) I will keep you posted as she grows :)
Thank you so much for all of...
I have contacted the breeder and he said that the hatch date is May 1, so she is just over four months old. I suppose that explains the size a little better.
Also he has a guarantee that it is a male and has said that he will be happy to give me another one from the same sire if it ends up...
Well I have to admit that that is a little disappointing as I was really hoping for a male and was told he was a male. The breeder seemed very knowledgeable and his answers to my questions matched up with everything I read on here. He also asked me good questions and seemed like he really...
Here is a photo of the base of his tail. Let me know what you guys think!
Also, I did see his siblings, and he was the largest of the bunch. At the time the breeder also had Nosy Faly babies, and I know he said they were almost 5 months. I am wondering if I got the ages mixed up and Loki's...
I thought the same thing Lazy Boy, and was cautious before I purchased him about his size. However the reading I have done has convinced me that they all grow at their own rate and just because he is smaller right now does not mean that he is a runt or will not be normal size/colouration. I saw...
Hi all! I posted a quick question a few days ago about worms, but since I've been spending so much time reading all the great information on here and snooping on everyone else's pictures, I figured I should post one of my own and introduce myself!
My name is Cassandra and I am a vet student at...
My five month old panther chameleon has done this a few times as well, and he seems to be doing just fine! I was so worried about it the first time I saw him hanging there but it's good to know he's not the only little one who thinks he's a bat :p
Thank you so much for your advice! I will definitely keep the patience thing in mind. :)
I also tried hanging a small Phoenix worm from the side of his enclosure today and he gobbled it up! Great tip, I really appreciate it :)
