That most certainly sounds like the natural thing that they do while cleaning their eyes. It has been my experience that this normally happens while or very soon after they have been showered, misted, fogged, etc..... Unless you see some kind of oozing, puss, etc... I would not worry to much...

Hissers I actually breed them and feed them to my animals. Just make sure your Chams are big enough to eat the Hissers. I tried to feed my male a big Hisser and he freaked. I tried a smaller adult a few minutes later and he gobbled it down quick.
