We moved our chameleon to the quietest area of our house yesterday, this morning I walked in and she turned Halloween at me. Could she just have been mad/startled or is it likely she is carrying her first eggs? She is 4-5 months old, Panther chameleon. She does seem more full but I couldn't get...
It looks like the pupil has just turned white, she hasn't shed since we've had her.
She sticks her tongue out some but not very far, she won't eat if we put free range crickets, crickets in a bowl, worms in a bowl, anything. We have to feed her.
Yes but right now just with some calcium stuff from Petco and carrots because of our budget. I don't know why she won't eat on her own, she did the first few days we had her then she started having issues we haven't seem to have fixed them all.
What can a white pupil indicate?
Sorry forgot to fill this out.
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Panther Chameleon, female, about 4 months old, we've had her about a month.
Handling - Every day to feed because she isn't eating on her own.
Feeding - Dusted crickets, carnivore care.
Supplements - Calc w/o d3...
Yeah we have the calcium w/o d3, waiting on the kind with d3 to come, and we got the multivitamin this weekend.
After we are through all of these containers I will probably switch her to repashy.
So we are supposed to dust twice a month, I was just wondering how much.
It says on the container 12 crickets per 2.5oz of body weight, but she weighed 8 grams when we took her to the vet last week.
We will soon, they said to use this one because she seemed a little shaky for not having uvb for awhile and they didn't want her to fall and get hurt/break bones. Plus it doesn't help that the first uvb bulb we got had glass over it so it wasn't even working! We are picking up a reptisun tomorrow.
We finally got everything set up for her, we have some free ranging crickets and we feed her them from tweezers until we can rig a bowl up for her. She seems much happier. I have to say I LOVE Chameleon's Northwest. They live close to us and are letting us borrow this smaller enclosure until she...
Our little chameleon just fell asleep with her face under her dripper so it's just sitting there dripping on her close mouth/nose area. Is that normal?
We let it sit a little longer and it jumped way up, I think the thermometer took awhile to adjust to get it right. Now it's too hot so we are going to try the 75w.
We got the 24"x24"x48" and we even put a 150 basking bulb on top because it's so large and 10" down it isn't even 70 degrees! What is going on? What can I do to raise the temp?
