I dont know about the cat one (just not able to picture it, i'm sure it will be great! :)) , but the Chameleon enclosure sounds amazing! Just an idea that I've been thinking about myself is hanging plants. I think for my next cage, I will figure out how to hang a ficus upside down, and then...
I am trying to find some sort of stand to put my chameleon cage on. Right now Oliver is just in a 18x18x36 inch cage, but I will be upgrading him to his big boy cage (24x24x48) in a few months. I'm having trouble finding anything that would be able to hold a cage, with a depth over 13".
So I...
FedEx messed up w/ me too! I ordered my first cham about 4 months ago, and the day it was supposed to arrive, I sat in a chair next to me front door, 3 hours before it was supposed to arrive. I saw the delivery lady walk up, so I got ready to open the door after she knocked, and a few seconds...
Ya I got him directly from Kammers. I asked around the forum before and some people say certain chams are just "late bloomers". He is defiantly a male. Every time he sheds he gets a little bit more color. He just got some reds, but you cant really see it in the picture. Color isn't the most...
http://www.save-on-crafts.com/
This is a craft website, but they have really inexpensive things! I'm planning on buying a bunch of branches and vines on here.:) It just takes a little bit of looking to find the things you need. I find that buying multiple things at once on this website is...
Thank you for your response. He is 8 months. Sorry for the confusion. Male. I don't weigh him, just for the reason that he isn't entirely tame with me yet. I've been moving slow, and i'm not to the point where I can handle him. I hope to start tracking his weight once I can get him used to...
I found my camera charger, so I decided I would take some pics of little "Olli Pocket as I call him. :D
He's a 9 month old ambanja panther from Kammerflage Kreations. He doesn't have too much color yet, but the color he has is really beautiful. So I'm sure he will be lovely when he grows up. :)
I have a 9 month old male panther chameleon. I'm looking to buy some worms offline. Is he big enough to eat hornworms? I know the general rule that the length of food should be the length between their eyes, but I've seen adult chameleons eat bugs much larger than even their head. Do you think...
most people use calcium w/out d3 on a daily basis, then w/ d3 and herptivite twice a month.
This way they get their daily calcium, but you're not overloading them w/ artificial d3
I just re-read my post, and my bad, I meant month old. Not year old :o:eek:
I don't feed him really anything other than crickets and mealworms. I haven't been able to find anything else at my pet store, and I'm trying to find space for buying bulk online. Do you think he is big enough to eat...
If you want to hang a plant I would suggest putting a 2x4 across the top of the cage, and hanging the plant from that. That way, instead of the plant weighing down across one area of the terrarium, it is distributed. :)
So I have an 8- 1/2 year old male panther chameleon, and he has grown a lot since I got him, but I see pictures of chameleons around his age and they look so much bigger.
I currently feed him between 12-14 1/2 to 3/4 inch crickets a day (the amount depends on the size), and about every other...
Kammer Sale
Kammerflage Kreations has an annual sale around the end if march. I got my (first and only) panther chameleon for $100 I believe. it may be $120
I have read the safe plant list, but I dont really remember anything about Lilacs. We are cutting down out lilac tree (I think they are trees?) and I was wondering, if I strip the bark, If it would be safe like that? Or do I still need to either bake, or do the boiling water system?:confused...
