I have yet to breed, but there is a good section you should read on the Veiled care sheet:

The section on breeding is near the bottom.
Welcome to the forums.
Thanks all! I can't believe the number of photos I have of him peering through the window screen, sometimes climbing on it...
He's a sweetie! He'll decide when it's time to come out and see out the window. His behavior in this sense is fascinating.
It is a general belief among most chameleon owners that it isn't the best feeder.
Here is a portion of the "Chameleon Food" page in the Care Resources.

"Vertebrates (pinkies, lizards, etc.) are not a notable part of a chameleon's normal diet...
Looks like maturing colors to me.
Check out the adult males on the veiled caresheet and the black they have developed as well: https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/
I use zip-ties. I will thread them through the screen and have them secured on the outside. Seems to work pretty well. Using branches you could put a small hole on either side of the branch and use a couple ties.
In my enclosure, I have an XL grapewood that is the centerpiece. I hang...
Here is a great, to-the-point resource that this site offers on veiled chameleons.

This will answer many of your questions, if there are any left.
We'd love to see pictures.
I will sometimes notice my cham finding a spot to snooze before bedtime (right before). I found that he would only do it if he had view of the outdoors. When the sun was going down, he would settle down to sleep. That change in light indicated him to find a place to settle down it seems, even...
I'm not too sure how common it is, but I've always worried about a chameleon shooting a superworm at the tail and having it swing up and bite near the eye (I've heard they pack a surprisingly strong bite).
That's why I'm always sure they target the head. Perhaps this could be the reasoning...
I remember reading about it on a Melleri thread, that the Meller's was acting lethargic and the owner used this item (I don't think it was ReptiBoost but something similar) orally and the Melleri perked right up. A forum member recommended it.
I remember visiting the site and reading about it...
I'm on my way to get a gram scale and reptaboost. He is still very active, though he seems disinterested in the crickets. Has loved supers these past few days.
I only offer 3 every other day, for he doesn't eat all of them. I'm going to see about 'hiding' some roaches...
Will update if I...
I have used a tube plant light in the past and have found it lights up some parts of the cage pretty well. Depending on your cage size, perhaps you could switch to a 5.0 UVB tube to see how much better it will light your cage, and go from there.
If your cage is large, I'd switch to a UVB tube...
I would just play around with lower wattages and a digital thermometer to see which bulb will get you the correct basking spot, given your room temperature. If I were you, I'd also monitor your room temperature with a dial on the wall just to ensure your basking spot will remain that specified...
Love the last one, right-side-up although up-side-down, the little acrobat. Nice to hear he's settling in, can't wait to see him grow! Glad to have you on the forums :)
