I usually just wait them out. If they dont look like they are obviously rotting. If i remember correctly (been a while since i bought bsfl since my current boy doesnt like them and i cant feed off the flies fast enough) these guys dont wiggle when touched. So i think it takes like 1-2 weeks?
Most will pupate ar that stage, some will not. Just like everything else, some wont survive. Keeping bsfl in the fridge will kill them quick thats for sure. I hate it. But also the high temps right now make them pupate fast. Cant do much. But chams love the flies and its really good for them to...
They also can fly and are skittish so i would only feed by hand. Regular green bananas breed a bit faster but are definitely smaller and less heavy. Can slightly try to increase breeding, high heat (around 80) high humidity, naturalistic enclosure, lots of hiding spots, they prefer fruit.
I think it was the calcium/fortified ones causing issues. But to be honest theres just such better options out there. I used crystals like ages ago. In the 90s early 2000s when i knew nothing. But once i started breeding roaches etc its all been produce and chow (with chow being homemade and 50%...
Shouldnt be any different. Just remove water crystals from their rotation. In fact they should do much better with it/prefer it. And they will gain beneficial nutrients for themselves and to pass on. Your colonies will do better. But i dont leave anything that lasts more than 24 hours in at once.
Feeders can get moisture/fluids from healthy fruits and veggies. Just feed a large variety and try to stick to what would be good for your reptiles overall.

Grasshoppers have been relocated into a larger container. That was a process o.O they are massive now. Growing so fast compared to what they used to be. Probably about 1/3 of the adult size. Just had a dubia birth from a new colony. Got a new heating element for my top shelf for my discoids. The...
Grasshoppers are doing great, they are eating everything from my garden with gusto. Everything from kale, mustard leaves, red leaf and butter lettuce, beet greens, and pea greens so far!
Also been finding a lot of cut worms and cabbage white worms because its thats season, so Prince Neptune is...
I threw kale, pea tendrils, and various lettuces in there for now, kale has some nibbling on it. But i have other types to try tomorrow too and may start growing some wheat grass for them
Just had my grasshoppers start hatching and I have a huge garden of food to offer them if they will eat it however I'm uncertain as to what this species will eat. I have differential grasshoppers. Are they picky? I know generally what to avoid, do I need to do special care for the little ones...
