    Just me doing some research, but reptiles metabolize ammonia to uric acid through the Inosine pathway (not the urea cycle like mammals) It’s interesting that inosine affects this virus in a positive fashion.     I did find an English version of the abstract I’ll see if I can access the full text through my work website next week I’ve always been suspicious that environmental underhydration underlies the renal disorders in chams I’m also curious what infectious diseases account for their leading mortality

    I like the ultratherm heat pads. And I think any heat source you use for animals should have thermostat on it to avoid overheating

    I have one of these on a Gargoyle gecko enclosure. You can put this on an external timer. If you wanted 3 minutes of mist twice per day you’d need to set the unit for one minute misting then set your external timer on for one minute, off one minute, back on, etc until 3 one minute misting...
