Majesty palm for a adult chameleon

It's a beautiful plant and would increase the enclosure astetics, but palms are probably the only tree without branches. Chams need branches.

5 Reasons why chameleons make great pets [Video]

This short video was not intended to be a stand-alone, comprehensive, review of all the pros and cons. Gingero has tons of videos describing the downsides of owning a chameleon. Please do your homework

5 Reasons why chameleons make great pets [Video]

You clearly haven't watched her videos all the way through. If anything, she is overly cautious about articulating how difficult raising chameleon is. Her videos are very pragmatic and realistic.

    Not fond of keeping crickets

You make a good case for dubias over crickets, so why use crickets at all?

5 Reasons why chameleons make great pets [Video]

Thanks for this. I was hoping this would be 5 cool/unique things about chameleons, but maybe you already covered that in a previous video. Obvious choices are independent movement of eyes, coloring, tongue extension, unusual walking movement, and fused toes

    Favorite chameleon products

This is a great idea to put together a list! I only suggest you include the type and wattage for the heat bulb, as this seems to be the most confusing thing.

    Misting during the day?

For those who don't mist during the day, doesn't that mean your chameleon has nothing to drink (moisture dripping off leaves) all day?

    Humidity, Fogger! Any Advice?

    Sharing my new enclosure!

2x2x4 is ideal, but it's not carved in stone. It could be a bit smaller.

Which lizards absorb water rather than drinking it

I had a dart frog for 11 years and he got all his water through his skin

Baby panther from private, not breeder

I strongly discourage getting this one so young, especially for $100. For a comparison, here is a reputable reptile store in Berkeley that is selling this juvenile for $150: https://eastbayvivarium.com/collections/chameleons/products/veiled-chameleon

Does anyone know what kind of plant this is?

I've had this plant in my backyard for 10 years and I've never seen any sap. I believe you would need to cut into it to get that.

    Reptile expo san jose, ca

Are you sure? They just had an expo there in June, which was moved from San Francisco

    95% finished. Thoughts?

Kind of hard to tell from one pic, but I love the extensive branch highway. Probably more plants would help; they need to hide to feel comfortable.

    Chameleon died over night???

Unfortunatley, all living things are delicate and chameleons even more so than most. It was just his time
