Well, my boyfriend is picking me up a baby Sulcata this weekend because ive been begging him for a tortoise for quite some time ;) I have the lights, and i have the winter enclosure, we started sketching out a design for an outdoor enclosure during the nicer months. We've also begun planning...
both pics are of the same plant, and thanks! from research, i figured it wasnt safe due to the irritating hairs on the leaves and vines. It will make a nice houseplant indeed ^.^
Well, my boyfriend came home with 2 small money trees and an ivy plant. We repotted the money trees and placed them in Charlie's enclosure and he loves them!
My boyfriend surprised me with some live plants for Charlie yesterday! He had gotten 2 small money trees (these are still okay, right?) and an ivy type plant. It didn't have a name or anything. Is it okay? If not, it will just be a houseplant.
I'm officially a Petco employee! I am training to be a sales associate specializing in reptiles and aquatics! Soo if anyone happens to find themselves at the Petco in the logan town center in Altoona PA, come drill me on chameleon care ;)
She does look skinny and dehydrated. First off, as already stated, get the waterfall out of there. hand misting a couple times a day is fine. would be better if there was a dripper too :) Search around on the forums for directions on showering your cham too, that will help hydrate her really...
Charlie is getting soo big and he has such a huge personality. He's not exactly the friendliest, but that's okay :) His antics are quite amusing!
"What are you looking at?"
Whack!
"My shtick <3"
I would not bother her while she is sleeping, unless she is sleeping during the day, which is bad. Otherwise, it takes time for chameleons to not stress while being handled, and some never come around, while others are like puppy dogs. It all depends on your chams personality. How long have you...
Storage tote lids make AWESOME drainage trays! All you need to do is drill a hole and guide the water to wherever you want it! I'll post pics once mine is done :)
Thanks! :)
Edit: Also, I'm not worried about the debt. The way i see it, I'm going to be in debt my entire life anyways, so it doesn't really matter...
So i've been in business school for 18 months now, and its a 21 month program. I am having THE hardest time finding an externship! And if i don't find one, my school randomly places me in the first situation they come up with, which is normally not a good one. $20,000 later, i decided i...

It's deff not mange, he doesnt have any other signs. it seemed to be gradual, but he was at my parents house all summer after i moved out. my mom and i think he may have been depressed when i moved out and it led him to excessively groom? i have no idea. it was something that i googled and was...
about halfway through the summer my cat's belly and inside of his back legs have gone bald. the only difference was he goes outside during the summer months. i did some research and it seems he has Feline endocrine alopecia, but thats only a symptom of many things. i dont have the money right...
we brought my cat over lastnight to come live with my boyfriend and i, and i woke up this morning and found him sitting like this watching tv XD all he needs is sunglasses...
I came to the conclusion it is overall nutrition, maybe different supplement brands, exposure to sunlight, etc. obviously a malnourished chameleon will not have as healthy a set of horns as a healthy one, but there are some cases where one who is healthy has unhealthy horns. its a game of...
