The rain drip setup is worth every penny. I struggled forever getting Koba to stay consistently hydrated. Pretty sure the dripping triggers the need to drink. (I used a basic drip system before... never worked)
Semesters over with school being closed early. The vet internship I moved down here for stopped till at least September. What does one do with all this free time? Build another vivarium duh. ?
Chameleons are very responsive to their environment. Whats your regular temp in the room and not just his enclosure? Ive watched people stick heaters in their room after I tell them its too cold and all of a sudden they have a much more hungry and lively cham.
The palm he sent me was infested with spider mite eggs. Destroyed my vivarium. They apologized and gave me the 10% of coupon...but I still had to pay for shipping. Hes as bad as underground reptiles.
Going on seven months with the one I have now...but now that I've said something its going to die. I keep it out of the way of the mistking and water it once a week. It grows out of control and doesn't smell. But all my non fireball bromeliads kicked the bucket and so did my palms.
Agreed. Better to know the breeder and be able to have a fall back for questions. Hard to get that from a big import company. Nothing against them what so ever.
Yep shes one of them. She sent me a kick threat because I told them attacking every vet who comes on there with some mildly sound advice is not a healthy culture. So frustrating.
I just left this group because the drama the admins cause. A couple are ridiculous.
Well I'm back from that crap of an expedition, with some scars on my brain, but its mostly still there...I named a mountain too, called it Mount Never ****ing coming back.
Okay cool. The multi vitamin is once every two weeks and only on like 6-7 crickets. If you put it on the entire 50-60 youre going to have an issue. She may lunge, with a veiled its quite normal, theyre firey. I'd still use tongs to feed them or use a large clear cup so she can see inside. If...
The whole dumping crickets in is a dangerous game to play. If your dumping 60 in they can bite your cham over night. Are you afraid of bugs? Because you need to be feeding sparingly every other day, especially with a female. Get a nice pair of tongs, throw 8 in a large cup or bag, throw in some...
Finished the move. Koba survived the 20 hour trip. Semester starts in 8 days. All my stick insects didnt survive the trip though, sad day. Good thing I'm incubating almost 400 eggs...
Huh. Vet must not be comfortable doing a spay on a chameleon. Reptiles are always high risk under anesthesia. Then you'll want to leave her alone, alone alone, likes been recommended. Then, id take the time to answer all thebquestions in the response/questionnaire skittles sent to you, it'll...
