    Jacksons chameleon

Man I think you're just too worried, just chill out a little. Throw a few crickets in his cage & let him hunt for them & I'm sure he'll be just fine. I sometimes feed my male and female by hand with tweezers but most of the time I just throw some crickets in their cage & they hunt 'em down...

Thanks Kerrek & everybody else, that's what I thought but I just wanted to make sure before I place my order for the 'T' double nozzle & some more tubing. :D

    MistKing Multiple Cage Set-up

I've been using a MistKing system with a single nozzle and the Zip Drip valve for ~1 year now on a single cage and love it. Now I'm in the process of setting up a second larger cage & want to install a double nozzle in it. My question is how do you hook up multiple cages? Do I use a 'T' on both...

What kind of soil to use for Transplanting plants for Chameleon cage

Get a bag of Miracle Grow organic potting soil at Home Depot or Lowes (not sure if they have it cause I got mine at HD). There's no fertilizers in it, just good organic soil.

    Josh's Frogs

I got what was supposed to be 120 Dubia roaches from Josh to get a good starter culture going, along with some other supplies, and when the package arrived there were 4 deli cups of various sizes of roaches in it. I suppose there was supposed to be 30 roaches per cup, but I swear there must have...

    Roach keeping question.

Josh's Frogs has a good video of how to set up a roach colony. They say to keep them in coco fiber as a substrate, which is what I used & seems to be working out really well. You can spray the fiber as it dries out & it keeps their humidity up. They seem to like to dig down into it. On one end I...

    Facing your fears

Dubias are definitely the way to go! No climbing or flying!

    Maybe a blue veil.

Nice color on that baby! Oh, thanks for the Cricket Crack too, Steve! I got it a couple days after you sent it and never did get back to you. My crickets seem to love it!

    discoid vs dubia

I'm sure one of the main reasons for people preferring the dubias is they're not climbers or flyers, coupled witht the fact that they're slower than discoids and other species too. At least that was a big reason for my choosing to go with them. You don't even have to keep a lid on their enclosure!

    temp gun

Lisa, I'd get the type that you hold in the palm of your hand kinda like holding a gun, and also one that has a laser built in. That way you can pinpoint exactly what you wanna know the temp of. I just checked out the links that bongrod and bkelley posted and the one that bkelley posted for...

    Stanley's place....

I'm using Internet Explorer, and no I can't see your pics lisagr07. You're the second or third person whose pics I can't see, which is why I asked. I can't even see the threads (or whatever they're called) for 'em.

    Stanley's place....

Any idea/s why can't I see a lot of the pics that people are posting and others are evidently seeing? I'm fairly new so I'm not sure why I can't see them sometimes. By the way, I am registered and signed in. Thanks for any help/suggestions!
