Thank you. I hate using the term "easy" with chameleons because I know they are a lot of work, I just didn't know how exactly to word it. And space is not a big issue, when we move I'm having my own reptile room. I understand that a 2x2x4 cage is a minimum for either and that is no big deal at...
I'm new to chams and am looking at all my possibilities. What do you think would be the best for a beginner? I know it all depends on how well you can take care of it, but which one has the easiest maintenance?
What does everyone use to keep up humidity? I've been looking around and have seen many mixed reviews. Also, what should I do if I'm gone 8+ hours a day? Would a dripper do? If so, which one is best? Thanks!
I see a lot of these look homemade. Do you use old cabinets, pantries, etc or what? Could I turn a bread pantry into an enclosure? If so, I'd love some ideas, if possible blueprints would be fantastic! I'm loving all these cages!
Hello everyone! I am thinking about getting my first chameleon! Now, granted, I had one before. I was given awful advice and she ended up passing away :'( . It has been a while now and I can't seem to get them out of my mind! This time, I want everything to be perfect. Months of research will go...
My friend is trying to give away his treefrog that, he says, lives in the same environment as my chameleon will and asked if I could take it. Are chameleons able to be with other animals?
it is freezing here and i think thats why alot of people arent selling them because i have asked people to come down here (since i havnt gotten my licence yet) but they have been telling me that they wont sell there chams yet until april.
I can't find a chameleon breeder in central illinois  and I was hoping someone could direct me to a trustable breeder within my area (around champaign) or a good store.
For carol, what i meant was that she had sunken eyes, very skinny, had a small lump on the side of her head, and looked like she had a small part of her tail bit off by the other bigger chameleon in the tank. also, for kinyonga, there was no feces in the tank so she could have been constipated.
I went to get a chameleon today at a local pet store and i found a chameleon but it didnt look like it was in the best shape:(. i was hoping that someone could tell me how to identify problems on a chameleon.
