Thanks Carol! And nothing much you can do. The stress of surgery would not be helpful, and putting a splint might just cause another fracture further down the leg. So we are going to give her an injection to help with pain and swelling, and hopefully it'll heal on its own.

Jann, I think she either fell from her plant or got it caught on somethig and managed to break her leg. Took her to the vet today, but its at such a difficult spot that it's limiting my options.

While my female is killing me slowly with her broken leg, this guy lifts my spirits! He is looking better and better every day, and I cant wait to see what he looks like in 6 months.

Looking for information on what people have done with broken limbs. I talked to one of the vets I work with - suggested xrays to determine bone density. However, the fracture is very proximal so splinting it can just lead to a more distal fracture during the healing process. I was thinking of...
