And nothing much you can do. The stress of surgery would not be helpful, and putting a splint might just cause another fracture further down the leg. So we are going to give her an injection to help with pain and swelling, and hopefully it'll heal on its own.
Thanks for the info, Jann. I also consulted with another vet who also suggested letting it heal on its own. I'll just keep a closer eye on her and see what happens.

I think she either fell from her plant or got it caught on somethig and managed to break her leg. Took her to the vet today, but its at such a difficult spot that it's limiting my options.
While my female is killing me slowly with her broken leg, this guy lifts my spirits! He is looking better and better every day, and I cant wait to see what he looks like in 6 months.
