Yeah I'm a grad student as well. Stuff always comes down to money. Boo. No vets won't give prescriptions without seeing the animals. Too many liabilities.
A friend actually ran the fecal for me, but probably can't get me the meds. The vet wanted $70 for a visit, and I think it was another $20 or so for the fecal. I live in Sacramento. The lack of exotic vets here is saddening.
