I have seen people say you need a minimum of 2 ft high and others saying 2x2x4 ft is ideal. But is 2x2x4 really necessary. I'd like to see some opinions. Thanks.
Im thinking about putting carpet(dont worry its a substrate type) on the floor of my cage to help with humidity and make cleaning easier. Is there a better solution than this for cleaning purposes?

You wont need calcium with D3 if you use a UVB in your cage setup. If your concerned about it, you can take your chameleon out for some sun every now and then, but dont let him out of your sight! And only if the weather is warm enough! :p
