Today's update

Since it was mentioned here's my reg Madagascar hissers enclosure. I've tried using a naturalistic enclosure for dubia. I spend hours trying to pick out all the nymphs in the enclosure. They love to burrow much more than hissers in my experience. I just used organic too soil.

Just got a pair of Oregon red spotted garters (thamnophis sirtalis concinnus). Those of you who've kept thamnophis know how amazing they are and how much personality they have. I've been wanting to get some more garters but been waiting out for the right sp. And found these.

From my research in ackies I was recommended a 4x2x2 for one or a pair (though I'd go at least a 3x2x2 for one) most monitors are burrowers and need an enclosure that can provide enough space for a lot of soil. The burrows help with their humidity requirements as its moister the deeper the burrow.
