    How to handle?

    Try scooping him up from underneath, if you reach in his cage and grab him from the top he might think you are trying to attack him. Also it is normal for him to run and hide, but once you hold him he will be alright.:)

    My veiled chameleon (male) is about 10 months old and he seems way too small! I heard that chameleons grow most of their full growth in there first year, but my Chameleon is really small! Here are some pics I took a few days ago, 2 compared to my hand and 1 next to a ruler. Is he under-size?

    no other weird behavior. only opening his mouth when he is eating (obviously), and sometimes when he is sleeping.

    At about 7:00pm, my cham was sleeping so I woke him up to show my friend. He puffed up, changed colors, and seemed to get really mad! Will something happen if I wake him up again? Should I not wake him up any more when he is sleeping? Is there a good way to wake up chams?
