Today my 5 month old chameleon has suddenly become very active. He has been climbing on the sides of his cage as well as all over his branches. He has never acted this way before...is this normal?

My veiled did the same thing when we first got him. He would only eat a max of 2 crickets a day and sometimes none. A couple of weeks later he started to eat more. We have had him 3 months and he eats up to 15 crickets a day!

Can a Veiled Cham be given too much calcium? As of now I dust all of his crickets with calcium and one day a week I dust with a vitamin dust.
