What I am about to say sounds horrible, but I'm pretty sure the only way this jerk is going to realize that he should not have these animals is if they die in his care. If you keep them, he will go get more just like you said, and he'll probably be angry with you and cut you off from them...
How old is your female? I've never owned a jacksons, but I've done a lot of research on them.
Jacksons chams, unlike most others, are viviparous. All the other female chams that are oviparous will lay infertile eggs once they reach a certain age, even if they've never been in contact with a...
Bearded Dragons are also wonderful critters, but he will need a larger enclosure. If he's a snake fan, check out corn snakes and ball pythons. Also will need a larger enclosure.
Hey all, I was just wondering specifically what kind of Jacksons Chameleon this is? This is not my picture but boy is it pretty! Normally I think they're kind of bland with just the green coloring, but if I could find one like this I'd be in heaven! Also, if you know off the top of your head...
Kind of irrelevant, but I did notice from your post (I didn't read the other thread so sorry if you mentioned it there) that you're running a uva light? Does your little fella have access to uvb as well?

Question gratefully answered! Thank you!
Sorry for the vauge title but I'm building bug bins at this very second and I need to know if crickets and roaches can climb duct tape!!!
Please and thank you!
I'm extremely picky with dirty stuff and kind of a neat freak. They WILL be cleaned. lol I'll probably have two sets, and when one set gets nasty I'll take them out, soak them, and clean them. While doing that I'll put in the new set.
I know, substrate is bad...but my goodness (and no offense to anyone!) I can not for the life of me get past having POTS just sitting in an enclosure! Its so unnatural looking. =(
I would much rather do the whole bottom in dirt, plant the plants normally, and just completely cover the bottom...
