Hi! Heidi and Waldo are doing GREAT! Heidi got her "own room" about 5-6 weeks ago. Waldo misses her but she doesn't miss him that much. Lol. They're PIGGIES and I can't believe how big they've gotten!

There are my gorgeous and awesome chams! I feel like bragging a bit. Lol.
Hi, everyone!
Just wanted to pop in and let you all know that Heidi & Waldo are still doing wonderfully! They LOVE to hunt the 30-40 crickets I give them every day! Waldo is now bigger than Heidi. Waldo is about 4-5 months old now and Heidi is about 6 months. They also still get along REALLY...
Hi again.
A very tough decision had to be made with my lovely Zelda. She had been digging to lay eggs for over a month. She got so malnourished and calcium deficient that she just couldn't lay. I had brought her to the vet and as I had suspected, her eggs had burst inside of her. She had...
Zelda is climbing high to that big jungle in the sky.
I can't believe that being egg bound is what took her down.
The vet and I did everything we could but she just could not lay.
She had her little tail curled around my heart and I can't even describe the loss I feel.
Thank you to...
Zelda woke up and got right to work! She's now made a hole deeper than any hole she dug in the smaller bin. The new sand seems to be MUCH better than the other sand I gad in the smaller bin, too.
I feel really bad and I hope she doesn't have complications from it.
I took this pic yesterday...
Lol. FEMALES!
I got Zelda a BIG bin and brand new play sand, stuck 2 sticks and some vines from Zelda's favorite place outside into it, put her in the sand AAAANNNDDD...She started digging right next to one of the sticks immediately.
Hole #9. (#8 was this morning)
9 is my lucky number so...
Thank you! I will try the different laying bin. She's in there digging again now...Hole #7 and today is the 1 week mark from when she started her digging. She still seems happy, green and strong! I will try to sneak the new bin in there tonight after she's gone to sleep if she doesn't lay today.
No. She hasn't been filling the holes in. I thought about that and after she dug a couple more practice holes I've been leaving the hole there instead of sifting right away. I figured that when she does actually lay she will cover the holes in. She's in the bin digging her 5th hole but has...
Thank you! I was noticing that the bottom layer was very wet when I was sifting through the sand after her 2 other practice runs. Zelda is turned around in the hole again but has her dark colors on.
Another practice hole??? How many is too many? So far she dug and slept turned around curled up in the laying bin Tuesday & Thursday (yesterday). She's now acting normal besides looking a bit chubby. Happy green, not dehydrated and I've seen her eat, too.
I'm still not too worried because...
