It's been a while since I have shared some photos of my boys. They have grown up so nicely. What is very funny is to see how each has developed. Both are from the same clutch, raised the same and in the same type of enclosures, however, their personalities are so different. Sky is a chilled...
This is the system I used with both my veileds since getting them, and the only eat from their "bowls"
I took a 2l ice cream container and cut out the bottoms. I covered the bottom with mesh so the containers don't retain water during mistings and and elevated them with sticks. I also added...
I'm wondering about housefly maggots as a feeder. I know that the beardie loves them and I order them from a breeder that breeds them specifically as feeders. Would it be a good supplement feeder for my veileds? They should be ok with the flies as well?
Rocco nearly caused a mini heart attack just now. Over weekends I leave both their cages open and they can freely roam between their cages and their free range trees. They both love the bit of freedom. Come lights out time they go back to their cages and they always sleep on the same spot every...
Congrats on the new one. My babies are around the same age than yours and are also veileds. From what I read your setup sounds fine. Hahaha I have the same issue with worms as you have, but I think they'll take to that as they grow up. Is the tube bulb the basking light?
I agree wholeheartely, I am new in reptiles (2 veileds, 1 kenyan sand boa and 1 beardie). Always wanted, but could never afford. Now I am in a position to properly look after them. The veileds are as healthy as can be, but the beardie is a pet shop rescue that has cost me more on vet bills than...
I was following your progress with Zelda, going through pretth much the same with our baby beardie that also have mbd due to incorrect set up in the petshop. I'm so glad that she is better, gives me hope for little Rogef as well. Good luck with the road forward, and it's great that she made...
I had the little ones out of their cages today on the free range tree. I hanged 2 little buckets with crics in it for them. So funny when they focus on the same bucket
Had the same thing before, I've made legs on my bins and used small foodcans with water in to put the legs in. Dont have an ant issue any more as they cant get through the water to get up to the bins
