I took my first vacation with having a Sid for two years and let a friend take care of him and things went south. After seeing pictures I thought he was just going into shed but this is completely different. Any thoughts?
Just notice this on his tail get dramatically worse today.. I dont have a reptile vet specialist near me. As much help as possible would be much appreciated.
I have never seen these white patches before on him, and they just appeared today. It does not look like dry skin and am curious if they are burn spots, even though my basking spot is 6 inches away with a 75 watt. Suggestions?
He is basking between 90-98, I have a 5.0 uvb as well as a 75 watt for heat. Its been right at 6 months since I have changed the uvb so that will be my first step. I have one pathos plant and the rest artificial, humidity is always between 40-60 with spikes to 80 twice a day.
