    Jackson Chameleon dark color

It's no biggie buddy :D you're right about turning dark to absorb more heat! My panther does the exact same thing and as soon as he's out from under the light he goes right back to normal. Sometimes I see him almost leaning sideways and flattening out his body just to get as much light as...

    Lighting

If you do use a T5 bulb make sure it's in a T5 fixture! Otherwise there could be complications with the fixture. It's not a very big problem it's more of an energy thing in the end.

is apple cider trap safe inside cage

Hate to be a buzzkill but even though carnivorous plants do consume bugs, they're horrible at pest control. I agree with the flypaper outside of the cage. Keeps control of the gnats and won't hurt your lil cham! If its coming from the pot, make sure you flush it and cover in sand and rocks.

    Jackson Chameleon

Also, even though it would be more difficult, I'd recommend a younger one. Because as opposed to an adult you can watch it grow and build a stronger relationship with it. You'd know it's personality and it would know you and be more comfortable around you. So in my opinion, getting them...

    Jackson Chameleon

Don't go blowing your hard earned money on a setup that could be easily done yourself for cheap, It's worth the effort AND the experience.:D I got my juvie Ambilobes and cage setup for $350 cash from a local breeder who was moving and didn't have the room for them. I saw his ad on craigslist...

Wow that's rad, how old are they? Oh man this lil guy is so curious it's awesome. Whenever he wants to investigate something or climb on top of something he just goes for it. My 4-5 month old male Ambilobe Carl shows basic colors of pale blue and green when in his enclosure, along with the typical darker coloration when he's basking. But when I take him out to explore and let him crawl around me and the furniture, he colors right up! (I let him climb onto my hand...
