This morning around 5am I came out to turn Spike's lights on and he was on a vine down in the bottom of his cage. That seemed strange by itself. He has a favorite place to sleep. I misted him like normal but he didn't move. He just sat there. Frozen. There were crickets crawling around on him...

This is interesting. My little guy is still very small and he is 6 months and 1 day old.

I would house them separate unless you are breeding them. I have a 6 month old Jackson and he is still really small. I have a misting system but I mist by hand. That way I can wipe up excess water on the floor of his cage in between mistings.

I have a baby Jackson and he is in my living room. I have a lamp on and the TV pretty much every night and it doesn't keep him awake. Most of the time he will find a spot on a branch where he is going to sleep, usually an hour before I turn his light off, and he will stay there all night.

Im enjoying him. I haven't handled him yet but I have been giving him mealworms and he doesn't shy away from my hand so hopefully that is a good start.

This is him when he arrived. October 31 This is him waking up this morning. Dec 05. He likes hanging on to leaves like that when he sleeps. To me it looks like he's hanging on for his life.

Will there be an oversized calender or did that idea get thrown out?

This may be a dumb question but the humidity level in my Jacksons cage get really high at night at around 85% and between mistings it goes from 50% to 70% during the day. Why does this happen? It seems to me that the humidity would be higher during the day with the mistings and the lights on. I...

I have a plant covering the hole. Nothing will go through that hole except water that runs through the flower pot.

Those directions are not on my container. I guess ill have to try a cup and see how long that lasts with the crickets.

The directions say mix one part Bug Burger to no more than three parts water. These instructions are pretty vague. Can someone that uses this stuff be a little more precise with how much they make at a time and how far it goes with crickets?

I can't imagine you needing a heat emitter living in San Antonio.
