It's easy to say if something is not on some list some where don't use it & that's a good point about dead poison ivy. I was how ever hoping for & ask for some understanding of the process & why things are the way they are, not just blindly follow a list.

Obviously I'm new to chameleons. I had ask earlier about some plants I couldn't find on any list, not on the "not safe" list either. No one said anything about them. I also ask about using mountain laurel branches, dead branches with no leaves. Couple people said they were not safe plants but...

I understand these are not safe plants but I'm just talking about a dead branch, no leaves or life. Just curious, how would a dead branch be harmful?

I was thinking, it's winter & the sap in down in the roots so branches should be pretty much just wood at this point. Anyone know for sure one way or the other?

We live out in the country near a creek with lots of mountain laurels. They have some really nice curvy branches with fine textured bark. I know the leaves are a no go but is there any reason why you couldn't use the branches in a chameleon cage? Thanks for any info you can offer Jim

I actually ordered two, a cheese keeper & a smaller long rectangular tupper for odds & ins. Will see which works best for what critters. Will post when I know.

I don't have a chameleon yet, been doing research for one. I do have anoles in a large terrarium & have been trying to find a better way to feed them crickets orther than just turniong them loose in the tank. I just bought a tupper on ebay for them. When I get a chameleon I can alternate days...
