How can you tell if a chameleon is egg bound?

This is what she looks like now. A few months ago she had really dark blackish blue spots all over her and didn't eat much for a few days. I was told she could be gravid. But the spots only lasted about a week or so and then they went away. I had a laying for her and she never seemed to go in...

How can you tell if a chameleon is egg bound?

So about 2 months ago my chameleon was showing signs of being gravid. Or so I thought? I'm not even sure if she was. This is my first chameleon. Her coloration was a little different, she was always scratching the screen and moving around the cage a lot. Now she's not showing any of those signs...

    Gravid female veiled

Thank you! I definitely know she's gravid now by the description. But what do I use to make a proper nesting area? I heard coconut husk and soil is good to use? How big of an area should I make for her?

    Gravid female veiled

This is my first chameleon and I need to know how to properly make a nesting area for her! And also if I need to make any changes in her feeding or temps.

Okay I'll keep an eye on her for a few days! Just kinda scared me that it was so sudden and out of nowhere that the spots and sneezing/hissing noise came up! And thank you very much! She's a little cutie! Wish she was more social and wanted to be held a little bit though! Haha

Her basking temp ranges from 83-86 and her humidity is normally around 50-60. When I shower her it gets up to about 80. I have a digital temp monitor.

very concerned about juvi female veiled.

This is my first chameleon I've owned. Never had problems with her before. But this morning when I went to feed her she had a weird black spotted pattern on her that I've only seen a few times when she gets frightened but so far she's had them all day. I haven't changed anything in the way I...
