I just got my panther today. The store had been working with him for a few months to tame him. They say that hand-feeding is the most important element in the process. They also recommend placing your cham in a high-traffic area so as to get him used to your presence.

To be honest, I am no sure. Got them from Lowes and the only tag said "Bromeliad." I can tell you that it has had some degree of color (red) since it was purchased several months ago. The red has faded, however, to a light pink.

I won't be able to go to the Expo Center. I always work Saturdays and Sundays. It was a stretch to take off this past weekend!
