On Friday, we lost Pixie my female Panther. I got her in Sept 2016 when she was around 6 months old. She hadn't been herself for almost a week, but she suddenly went downhill and died shortly after. At least she died at home and didn't gave to endure countless futile vets visits. I take comfort...

You said what the ambient was but you don't say what temperature the basking spot is. A 60w bulb is probably going to be too hot for a Jackson. He could be going down to cool off. What is the basking temp?
I know this is an old thread but in my 10 years of cham ownership I have never heard of a blue Jackson. I certainly would have done if it was a real thing as I adore Jackson's and a blue one would be wonderful.
