My panther spent all day yesterday digging and sitting in her hole, I peeked behind the blanket this morning to find the hole covered and her sitting above the bin.
I took out the bin, she looks tired and dehydrated, I have spayed her viv a few times she is drinking. I checked the whole bin...
I still think it's too small though is only about 3" deep this is way deeper. And maybe start a hole to get her going?
Would it be a good idea to swap it out as soon I get home in about 2 hours. Or would a new bin the Vic spook her. Her bin now has been there for about 10 days
I've now covered the Viv with a towel so she can't get spooked by anything b outside.
My wife is due home soon with my kids. I've told her to be as late as possibile. If she comes home although the chameleon won't be able to see out will noise spook her.
The Viv is in my living room out of...
She has gone back now. I have to go back to work so hopefully she will do something.
If not would a bigger Bin be better as im not c sure if it's deep enough. Will she try again if I do.?
I've posted before about my male dying after 3 weeks and how I've v been worried about my female not eating etc.
My house had been empty all day I've come home to find her digging her egg bin. I walked out as soon as I did she did not notice me.
How long will it take as I don't want to...

Thanks nearest ones to me are the Cheshire ones, but they are still 85 - 100 miles away 1.5 - 2 hours car journey.
If samples can be sent might find one that I can send it to that might be cheaper.
Live in anglesey North Wales. I'm surprised in the lack of reptile vets. Never needed one before. None of my reps needed one until now
Thanks will email them. That price is what I thought it might be. Will ask them if it can be sent. I thought it had to be as soon as. But could be wrong
Just phoned another vet as soon as I mentioned chameleon they paused and said hold the line. They said they doubt it can be done in house lab and would need to be sent away.
Both vets boasts they have in house labs surely if you can buy kits etc they could do it? What do they do with cats...
How much have you paid for a faecal float in the UK, I have been quoted £60 by my vet (not specialised in reptiles) that seems a little steep to me, not sure if he is charging more because of it being a rep, sure a dog/cat is cheaper and the process is the same?
He said he will send it off to...
the tank I would say was not bigger than 2x1.5x1.5 way to small to house 3 chameleons too small for one I would say, not that you should house more than one anyway
By the time I hand fed him he was already weak, felt cold even though he was under the lamp some of the time, I think he was too...
