Ok, guys...I hope you realize that there are two people that post/reply on our name...We are Becky and Jordan. Jordan originally posted the thread and a few replies after that. Becky (that's me right now) I am the one that got offended by all the things that have been brought up. And I truly...
Sadly, no. At the first sight of his eyes being the least bit sunken we were on him with water and electrolytes. His feces seemed "normal" (well, what we assume is normal, compared with our girl's) up until those last days before his constipation.
The crickets are kept in an aquarium with a...
Ok, Chris...There was no pathology exams, this is all theory. Maybe there was something you missed. It wasn't two days after switching to a dry gutload, it was two days after the physical symptoms were obvious that he died. The lack of water from the wet gutload is what she -thinks- caused the...
Our beloved Osirus passed at eleven months old. We hope the information can others before the same thing happens. He passed due to an under active pituitary gland. This condition was caused by us keeping his diet and watering as stable as clock work. His body had lost it's ability to regulate...

I have Ambanja, ambiblobe cross and his coloring lately has been all over the place. It would very up and down that When we received him he was blue on green like in our sig, but now he goes to a golden yellow much lighter than the last pic. When he was little the lighter he was the better mood...
Well, being from Houston and having family down there...
I know, at the time, the majority of the city is out of power, from what I've heard/seen, the worst is probably over, and now comes the rainbow
Ah, this is the one thing I don't miss from living there!!! Anyway, to the...
Heck yeah! He's so friendly, he always gets grumpy when we put him back. Most will frown upon our actions as their owners we should "know what's best", but we can't help what they want! I'd much rather have a happy handled chameleon, than a grumpy caged cham.
Hehe I WISH we had a Lowe's or Home Depot here, we're kind of in the middle-of-nowhere-town in North Dak.
Don't get me wrong, we have PLENTY of vines and plants for him to crawl on, but he always goes for the sides! He's only 9 months old, and we use the bulbs that we got from the Kammers...
Recently our male has been a lot more clumsy than normal. He's always been really brave reaching for objects that are WAY too far out of his reach and ends up falling, or just using his tail for it's purpose...
But lately he's been falling from the sides of his cage. It's a screen enclosure...
uh..lol I guess I should have looked up past threads before starting a new one. NEVERMIND!!! I now see that it -is- normal  oh, thank you for having patience with us silly newbies!!
Is it normal for chameleons to only shed their tail? Our female did it the other day, and it stopped right before her back legs, and today our male shed from his right after his back legs down to the tip of his tail too.
Any reason to be concerned?
We use to use Eco Earth and that stuff deffinantly does collect plenty of water (assuming you're watering the chameleons correctly), especially under plants, when crickets die they mold over and sometimes the feces will too...I'm talking over night. As soon as we saw this happen we agreed to no...

I hope you don't think it's rude that I drop in a question, since it's the same topic...
We're gonna be doing a similar thing, but only once. Except we'll be traveling from northern North Dakota to southern Texas...in the winter time. Any suggestions for that sort of...
